If you’ve never made a homemade tomato sauce before I highly encourage you to try it out. Not only is it easy to do, but it is so much better than store bought sauce. This recipe is made with simple ingredients most all of which you should already have in your fridge, or pantry. If you look closely in the following picture we added a ton of garlic to our sauce, more than the recipe called for. My Wife and I love garlic so if you’re not a huge fan only follow the recipe and it will match your tastebuds. I think we used about 3 times what this recipe called for on garlic.

You’ll also notice this sauce is not as liquid as the store bought sauces, we personally love a thicker or “chunky” sauce rather than liquefied tomatoes. Don’t be discouraged once again just follow the recipe to the letter and it will turn out just like what you’re used to. We strained the cans of tomatoes so there was no excess liquid which will make the sauce a lot less dense.
