Homemade Cheese Pretzel Bites are here to stay! The wonderful taste of pretzel bread and cheese combined! This recipe is for an amazing bite sized appetizer that is perfect for entertaining guests or a snack before dinner. I would highly suggest putting large grain salt on these, they really bring out the flavor of the pretzel especially if you’re used to eating pretzels! The cheese mixes in quite well, we only tried mozzarella the first go around but you can substitute any cheese that you may have on hand. Don’t be daunted by the amount of steps involved in making these pretzel bites. The payoff is extremely worth it.
You should serve these bites while they’re still hot, that way the cheese is nice and gooey still. Plus who here thinks warm breads are anything more than delicious? If you’ve never made pretzels before there is a different kind of salt the pretzels in the picture have normal table salt on them and I wouldn’t suggest using it. Rather, grab yourself some salt that was made for the purpose try Coarse Pretzel Salt for these bites.
