Pumpkin Spice Latte

Everyone likes a pumpkin spice latte now and again, and they’re pretty easy to make! No more long lines at starbucks for a nice pumpkin latte now you can make them at home and bring them with you everywhere! We’ve been doing this for months now that pumpkin season has been upon us and have dialed down the recipe so it tastes even better than what you’d buy at your local spot.

Ingredients
  • For Syrup:
  • 1 cup water
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar or your desired sweetener
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • To make Latte:
  • 1 shot espresso or strongly-brewed hot coffee
  • 1 shot pumpkin spice syrup
  • 6 ounces steamed milk any kind

Instructions
  1. For Syrup:
  2. Whisk together water, brown sugar, pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice together in a small saucepan over medium high heat.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract, and remove from heat.
  6. Use immediately, or refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 1 week.
  7. To make Latte:
  8. Add all ingredients together in a mug and stir to combine.
